Afemai Traditional Rulers Host Minister Momoh, Pledge Support for President Tinubu

Eminent traditional rulers orchestrated a splendid reception yesterday, paying homage to the Minister of Niger Delta Development, Hon. Engr. Abubakar Momoh, in Auchi, Etsako West Local Government Area of Edo State.

The regal event held at the majestic palace of the Otaru of Auchi, HRH Alhaji Aliru Momoh, Ikelebe III, the esteemed Otaru of Auchi Sacred Kingdom.

The gathering attracted a distinguished array of figures, including the Aidonogie of South Ibie, HRH Oba Kelvin Danesi II, HRH Oba Emmanuel Adache Saiki II, the Otaru of Igarra, HRH Ali Suleman, the Ogiagah of 3 Ibie and Atomah of Imiegbai, HRH Apa Peter Abalume Osigbemeh, the Onwueweko of Okpekpe Kingdom, and the Odafe of Enwan, HRH Oba P. A. Okara. Additionally, the Otolo of Uwanno Kingdom, High Chief Tony Ayemoh, represented HRH Dr. George Egabor, Omoaze I, the traditional ruler of Uwanno Clan.

Also in the roll-call of eminent royal fathers are HRH, Oba John I, Daudu, Ogie-Awa III of. Atte Kingdom, HRH, Oba Felix Ogbamudu Collins, Ogie of Uneme-Nekhua, Clan Head, North Uneme, HRH, Alhaji Jackson Daudu A. Etohana, Ogieavianwu of Avianwu, HRH, M. A. Etsu, Ogie-Eppa of Weppa Clan among other esteemed dignitaries.

Throughout the ceremony, a sense of reverence and admiration filled the air as the royal assembly extended heartfelt prayers, pledged unwavering support, and spoke eloquently about the Minister’s commendable character and leadership style.

The distinguished royal fathers took turns expressing their profound appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his gracious act of appointing Hon. Engr. Abubakar Momoh as a Minister in his cabinet. They went on to describe the Minister’s simplicity and thoroughness in handling matters as nothing short of legendary, underscoring his vital role in representing the Afemai people.

Encouraging unity and collaboration, the traditional rulers fervently urged the entire populace of the Senatorial district to rally behind the Minister, ensuring his success in the discharge of his official duties.

The atmosphere of the event was filled with a collective commitment to the development and progress of the region, as indicated by the renewed support and prayers offered not only for Minister Momoh but also for President Bola Tinubu.

The royal fathers expressed their hopes for the realization of the promises outlined in Tinubu’s ‘renewed hope’ manifesto, stressing a collective effort towards a brighter future for Nigerians and the people of Afemai.
